Over the past several years Ben Instone has been at the top of the UK time trialling scene. From 2007 to 2009 he placed second in the Champion of Champions competition (Ron Kitching Trophy), which is awarded to the rider with the best overall performance in the British Time Trial Championships and the National 10, 25 and 50 Mile Championships. 

Ben has worked in the bike industry for 15 years and is respected in the UK time trialling community for his extensive knowledge of bicycles as well as his ability to ride them. He ran a bike shop in Petersfield from 2004 to 2007 before moving to France for a year. When he returned to the UK, he worked part time for a successful triathlon shop, The Tri Store.  In September 2010 Ben moved to St. John's, Newfoundland, where he decided to open Bike Doc Ltd. to help meet the needs of the growing cycling and triathlon community.
